1. Who we are and what this policy covers
GenX Enterprise Solutions is the enterprise division of GenX Technologies PBC. This policy explains how we handle personal information relating to our website, enquiries, business relationships and agreed services. It also explains how to contact us about your information. Separate project agreements may set out additional requirements for a client system or service.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide may include your name, organisation, role, telephone number, email address, enquiry, correspondence and information needed to scope or deliver agreed work. Transaction and service records may include quotation, invoice, delivery and support details. Website providers receive technical connection information, such as IP address, browser details and requested pages, when they deliver and protect the site. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry and do not send passwords or sensitive client records through general contact channels.
3. How we use information
We use relevant information to answer enquiries, prepare proposals, manage business relationships, deliver and support agreed solutions, maintain business records, protect our systems and meet applicable legal obligations. Where consent is required for a particular activity, we seek it for that activity. Making an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
4. Grounds for processing
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before an agreement, perform agreed work, comply with a legal obligation, or pursue a legitimate business purpose where this does not override your rights. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully or information we must retain on another lawful ground.
5. Client systems, software and AI work
Business systems, websites and apps may involve information controlled by a client. For each engagement, the scope and agreement determine our role, authorised access, hosting, third-party services, support and handling of project data. AI coaching and automation are scoped around the organisation’s needs. The proposed use of client information with an AI provider must be addressed before that information is used. This corporate policy does not replace a privacy notice required for a particular client application.
6. Sharing and service providers
Relevant information may be handled by personnel and providers involved in communication, hosting, business administration or delivery of agreed work, and disclosed where required by law. Information shared for an engagement is limited to its purpose. Where a provider handles information on our behalf, appropriate confidentiality and data-handling requirements form part of the arrangement. We do not offer your personal information for sale.
7. Website technologies and contact channels
The site uses Cloudflare for delivery, protection and Web Analytics, and Google Fonts for typefaces. Cloudflare Web Analytics reports page use and performance; it is designed without analytics cookies or visitor profiling. This does not mean that every hosting or security function is free of technical logs or cookies. External providers have their own privacy notices. The current enquiry form prepares a message in your browser and opens your selected WhatsApp or email application for you to review and send; it does not submit its fields to a GenX website database. Information sent by email, telephone or WhatsApp is subsequently handled as business correspondence.
8. International processing
Website and communication providers may process information outside Zimbabwe. Where an engagement requires an international transfer of personal information, the applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards must be addressed for that transfer. The location and arrangements for a client system are agreed for the project, rather than assumed from this website.
9. Retention and security
Information is kept for the period needed for its purpose, agreed support, legal and accounting obligations, and the resolution of disputes. The period depends on the type of record and the applicable requirements. We take reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to the information and service. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Where a personal-data incident requires notification, the applicable reporting and notification requirements will be followed.
10. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where permitted, or object to or seek a restriction of relevant processing. You may withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. Contact us using the details below; we may need reasonable information to verify your identity and understand the request. Some records cannot be deleted where retention is legally required.
11. Questions and complaints
Contact [email protected] with the subject Privacy request, or write to GenX Technologies PBC, Shop 15, 63 Speke Avenue, Harare, Zimbabwe. You may also contact us on +263 775 897 955. If a concern is not resolved, you may raise it with Zimbabwe’s Data Protection Authority, POTRAZ, through its official complaints channel.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our operations or relevant requirements change. The date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice.
